An edge here is a dn-bgp daemon (GoBGP route reflector) running at a POP — not a physical router. Its daemon peers with IXs and upstreams and reflects routes. Backbone edges peer via loopback over dark fiber and can share routes with other edges in the same fabric. Public edges peer via their public IP (GRE/internet) and only get their own locally-assigned prefixes. Group connected edges into fabrics below.
